For example, groups such as LGBTQ+ pride committees who work all year, often on a volunteer basis to plan and promote a pride parade open to all in the LGBTQ+ community, family, friends and allies. After which, there are often new supporters whom wish to help promote equality whether in a city, state, country or around the globe.
While the phrase empower a female may sound sexist as doing so could dismiss men, truth is all genders, including transgendered individuals need to be empowered equally. In most cases, it occurs through a global perspective of life in which all are equal, events, standards and improvement of conditions.
